  The most inhospitable place we have ever visited. Had to stop as getting late, we had come from Hughenden (great cabins and hospitality) and stopped at all the great places along the way, esp the Gorge for swim, and numerous other Nat parks etc.

  Had booked a cabin at the Lynd Oasis Roadhouse from NZ but when we got there were told it wasn't available then told we could have a cabin for $80.00, broken fridge, broken aircon , nothing, just a totally stuffed bed and the noise of the chiller fridges nxt door running full whack all night.

  The lady running the place must have a real Psycho problem with all the problems of running a place like this but it does not excuse the unreal lack of nicety necessary when you are charging the earth for nothing.

  Just drive on to Mt Garnet which is a great little village no matter how tired you are.
